Mary Seitz Young
Couples Therapist + Trauma
It can hurt deeply to feel like you and your partner are living in the same home but no longer finding each other. What once felt natural and safe may now feel confusing, distant, or even painful to reach for.
When trust has been shaken or patterns of conflict have taken hold, it’s easy to wonder if things can truly change—or if you’re just stuck this way. Many couples find themselves silently carrying that question.
The good news is that relationships can be understood, repaired, and rebuilt. With care and intention, it becomes possible to slow down the cycles that keep you disconnected and begin to create new ways of responding to one another.
In our work together, we focus on rebuilding emotional safety, improving communication, and helping you better understand both yourself and your partner in the process. Healing doesn’t happen all at once, but it can begin in small, meaningful shifts.
If you’re feeling unsure about what comes next, I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute consultation so we can talk about your relationship and what you’re hoping for.
