What to Expect
If you work in a helping profession, you already know how emotionally demanding it can be. Caring for others day after day is incredibly meaningful — but it can also leave you depleted, stressed, and unsure where to put the weight you carry. This support group gives you a warm, low-pressure space to exhale, connect, and remember you don’t have to hold everything alone.
The group is gently guided by a therapist, but it is not therapy. There’s no rigid structure, no required sharing, and no pressure to be “on.” Instead, this is a space where you can show up exactly as you are, listen, talk, decompress, exchange support, and learn a few grounding tools to help you stay steady in your work.
Who it's for:
Medical professionals
Animal shelter workers
Therapists, counselors, social workers
Teachers & school staff
First responders
Caregivers
In this group, you can expect:
• A calm, judgment-free environment
• A chance to connect with others who understand the emotional demands of your job
• Space to share challenges, frustrations, and small wins
• Support from peers who “get it” without needing explanations
• Gentle grounding and coping tools (non-clinical, easy to use)
• A break from isolation and the pressure to always “hold it together”
• Encouragement, validation, and a sense of community
This group is a place to refill your cup, process the emotional toll of caregiving, and remember that you deserve support too. Whether you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, or simply craving connection, you’re welcome here.
