Emily Carey
Trauma + PreMarital
To the Woman Who’s Holding It All Together
You always show up for others yet when you need to show up for yourself, it feels out of reach.
On the outside, you appear structured, organized, and productive.
But on the inside, everything feels out of control.
You keep yourself endlessly busy.
You criticize yourself about every perceived shortcoming.
You wonder why dating feels so hard, or why food still has such a complicated hold on you.
Maybe you allow yourself to get close to others, but not too close.
Maybe you’re engaged and quietly afraid of repeating old patterns.
You don’t want chaos.
You want depth.
You want connection that feels steady, warm, and real.
Therapy isn’t about fixing you.
You aren’t broken or a problem to be solved.
It’s about understanding your patterns, calming your nervous system, and learning how to show up differently in relationships, with food, with others, and with yourself.
Whether you’re navigating relationships, preparing for marriage, or healing from an eating disorder or trauma you don’t have to do it alone.
If this resonates, I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute consultation.
Hold onto hope.
There’s a steadier version of you waiting on the other side.
